mogwai in 2006?

i'm going to see mogwai in 6th july as they play a club gig here in helsinki.    (finally some good band coming here too!!!)

anyone here seen them lately? opinions, views, reports...?
i haven't seen them live before so i guess that makes me pretty green...

I saw them in Boston... they were, in one word, INCREDIBLE.  Stuart Brathwaite is really an incredible guitar player, and the band is super-tight.  Be prepared for some of the most beautiful and vicious sounds you've ever heard.

I saw them in March in a small club here in Nashville and they were FAB! "My Father My King" is an incredible experience live and the songs from the new album sounded great.
But yes you definitely need earplugs! I was holding my hands over my ears at times even WITH earplugs in. Ouch!

i saw them at a club in seattle last month.  great show!  a club setting is  the way to see mogwai.   the amazing sound they create got lost when i saw them at sbc park in '04.
