Lost /Labyrinth are not only a killer opening for an album that was really sink or swim for them as a band but restored Cure fans faith in them as a band and reminded them why they loved them in the first place.

I had this exact same thought after hearing those two tracks. The Cure is back in raw form and killin' it!!

Then track 3 hit and I went.... uhhhhhh

Then track 4 hit and I went.... hmmmm

Then track 5 hit and I went.... oh well. that died quickly.

Here is how I felt about the songs once I had listened to it a number of times

"Lost" great
"Labyrinth" great
"Before Three" meh
"The End of the World" it grew on me
"Anniversary" bleh
"Us or Them" good
"alt.end" good
"(I Don't Know What's Going) On" okay
"Taking Off" good
"Never" no
"The Promise" i don't even remember how it goes. did i ever make it though all ten minutes?
The way she pulls me in sucks my breath away
