Title: "Apart" cover by The Mermen
Post by: tdcrjeff on March 17, 2009, 00:36:45
The Mermen are a psychedelic surf trio out of the Bay Area. They allow recording of their concerts and are posted to the Live Music Archive at archive.org. Here's a show from 1.5 weeks ago where they covered Apart. It's 15min long, though doesn't really get going until about 5-7 mins into it:

There is also a Mermen side project called The Shitones (same guitar player) that only plays covers and they played Apart a few weeks earlier:

That's kind of The Mermen's signature song, or at least I think of it as such. they play it just about every show. The full title is "With No Definite Future and No Purpose Other Than to Prevail Somehow..."

Oh, I see. Thanx. I just got "A Glorious Lethal Euphoria" with them. Their records arenĀ“t that easy to find in Sweden.
