Happy Christmas everyone, have a wonderful day, however you spend it 🎄 🎅

Life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves

And to you too, @chemicaloverload!  :-)  Going to be hot here tomorrow - 38 deg C - and then cooler days.  Not planning on being outdoors in that... enjoy your snow! ;)

Swap? Mind you, I think I'd melt!  No snow yet but lots of beautiful mist :)

The grass is definitely greener, @chemicaloverload:lol:  If you like, you can have the sauna today and I will enjoy the beautiful mist!

Now to a German speaker, the idea of "Beautiful Mist" would be a head-scratcher, wouldn't it, @Ulrich?  (For non-speakers: it means manure, or if spoken with emphasis, crap.  So German tourists can get really amused by the notion of "Mist-Covered Mountains"... and also, Boris Becker was playing tennis in Western Australia last century, and upon missing a ball hopped around like an aggravated leprechaun going, "Mist! Mist! Mist!" and the UK commentator they'd flown in for the TV coverage said, in his plummy accent, "Boris Becker is commenting on the fact that he missed the ball."  Indeed!  :rofl)

Oh yes, I wanna go out and enjoy that beautiful "mist"...

In fact I might go to a sauna today indeed, at least someone has suggested it tentatively, now I'm waiting for her to confirm it.  :cool

Are you going on a date, @Ulrich:angel  Or is it normal cultural practice to share space with semi-naked people you're not actually dating / an item with?  (Having left Germany as a child, I am unable to comment!)

Not the typical "date", no. In a way it is a "date", because we just spoke on the phone about how and where we're going to meet. However it's my "ex" gf, so not a "real" date, just a meeting of old friends around Xmas.

Ever since I started going to sauna from time to time, it has become "normal" to me - didn't even feel "awkward" the first time round (maybe due to the fact that I have to take off my glasses in there)! (For the first time back in 2007, of course I was talked into it by a girl...)

 Of course, the glasses!  We're at that stage too!  My husband says, "You're so beautiful, darling!" and I say, "Want to try that with your glasses on?"  :angel

I hope you have a good outing! :)

Well, it was a nice Xmas-meeting... got a present too (and was happy to give one).  :cool

Yes, I'm short-sighted, so I only see blurred shapes mostly... (can be good, can be bad).  ;)
