Ya!?

Yep, as I pointed out in the "fave bands besides..." thread already, it is difficult.

I started buying vinyl albums back in 1984 (or so), then I started buying cds in 1991. You can imagine I built a collection in the meantime. It includes loads of stuff from punk/new wave/indie/alternative bands, but also rock, pop, folk...

For example, I really like Pink Floyd. I went to the cinema to watch (ex guitarist) Dave Gilmour's "Live at Pompeii" movie. But I do not listen to the old albums all the time (DSotM and WYWH are kinda "overplayed" anyway), so should I list them or not?  :?

Another example: I really like The Stranglers and I saw them live a couple of times. But I do not own all of their studio albums, so can I pose as a "fan"?
(It's the same with many other bands...)
