Carnage Visor

I just thought of this the other day...

The Cure are more punk (in their ideologies and all) than most "punk groups" that followed. I mean, they have such tongue-in-cheek, biting, yet sophisticated and metaphorical lyrics...they push bondaries. I mean, that was pretty punk, Simon shouting "f*ck Robert Palmer...", it's that kind of attitude that I consider to be punk.

It's like, "I'm not meant to be here, but so what?" (which incidentally is part of the lyrics to the song "So What"... ;)

:-D

No they weren't. Their first album is brilliant! They moved into the Skinhead scene, and then progressed into the RAC side of things. They had balls no one can deny that! And thats waht I love about 'em!
