while we were in the U.S. a tiny squirrel stole some of our food while we were standing right net to the table, but it didn't come that close  :-D

around here the seagulls have gotten really arrogant, often stealing food directly from people's hands. they just dive in from the sky and grab the food if you're not watching.
i think there are even warning signs for this in some places.

but sure, these were full-blood city squirrels. the wild ones here do exactly what you described, run and hide when they see humans.

Even the city ones here run away from humans.  Heck, just look at them and they're gone.

I very rarely see city squirrels at all, and only in residential areas. And as soon as they see you, they go up a tree!

Never seen any crazy seagulls either. Animals around here must be boring.

Frisbee golf (frolf) at Järva, Stockholm, Sweden last weekend. It´s my friend Rag that´s tossing the discs.

so he got into a (released) postcard?

i used to live close to a frisbee golf park but never tried it. it seemed to be pretty popular though.

i came face-to-face with a dinosaur the other day:

hmm.  :?

here's something that i found pretty funny and uplifting:

Waiting for Romeo....

not taken by me - i wish it was because i'm envious of such a shot. :P
