I'm Alexander from the cold country Norway. I'm 19 years old, turning 20 this year, and I've been listening to The Cure since autumn last year.
I had the opportunity to see them play here in Oslo in winter, but for some reasons it just didn't happen. Later I've regretted much. But hopefully they'll come around again with a new album and tour. I'm keeping my hopes up.
First time I heard The Cure was about 6 years ago. My dad used to pick me up after school, and every friday they played Friday I'm in Love on the radio. Always loved that song. Dad sent an e-mail to the radio channel and asked which band played the song. :-D He got an answer, but neither me or him checked out more of their material.
The first album I bought by The Cure was Pornography. Now I've almost gotten all albums, but Pornography is still my favourite. Faith and Disintegration are also high up there.
Anyways, it will be a pleasure to talk more about The Cure with you fellas. :)
