'the cure on record' by daren butler
published in 1995 by omnibus press (london, UK)
128 pages

a must have if you're into collecting official recordings.
yet it's another famous book that is in dire need of new edition: the last items listed here date from 1993...
anyway, i suppose it's pretty comprehensive up until then. although i remember back when i was still collecting official recordings i used to have a hand-written list of stuff that's missing from this book. but infortunately i've lost that list somewhere along the way...  :?

'the cure: discographie illustrée' by philippe raymond and jean-francois moreau
published in 1991 by voodoo smile
95 pages

another discography book, this time in french.
i have a copy i've bought used and some nice soul has filled in a lot of additional info (mostly info serial numbers and labels for foreign pressings), so looks like it's not perfectly comprehensive.
the pics are in black and white so it's not as lavish as the butler book.
my french is too bad to really read and comment the text sections: help! :P
