But I'm really not convinced that it's an upgrade. Until using 16 GB cards become practical, I can't imagine recording at 96 kHz. Also, I have yet to be convinced that sample rates higher than 48K are really beneficial.
I really don't like how they moved the inputs to the side and the hold switch to the back. I also heard about some other things that don't necessarily sound like improvements.

and yes, putting the hold switch in the back is a poor idea - easy to get it mixed with some other switches (like low cut). :/
