Title: Cure collaborators
Post by: Chapel.irl on May 27, 2017, 20:02:53
Need your help, you marvellous lot.
In the 80s, I had quite the need to learn everything about The Cure and own everything they released. I have a very distinct memory of a man known as Jerezmy playing on songs back in The Top or Japanese Whispers time. For years my memory was that he played on Lovecats. But I can find no reference to this name online.
Please help me prove I'm not going senile. Can anyone please place that name?

Can't remember hearing that name ever in connection with The Cure. (I did read e.g. the books "10 Imaginary Years" and Jeff Apter's "Never Enough", not mentioned in there.)

Norman Fisher Jones helped out on bass in 1984 (probably because Phil Thornalley was off working as an engineer/producer).

Derek Thompson also helped out for the "Oxford Road Show":

You probably checked out "wikipedia" and other sources. If anything was known about other players, I guess someone would've complained or changed it?
