Venue details

The Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne Park was completed in 1988 as part of the original National Tennis Centre complex. This multi-use venue is able to host a wide range of sports and entertainment events, from Grand Slam tennis matches to international rock stars, and motorbike super-cross action to conferences, dinners and classical performances. The most dynamic transformation Rod Laver Arena has seen will come in March with the FINA 2007 World Swimming Championships which will see a 50 metre temporary pool being built on the arena’s floor.

Don't forget your DAT, your MD, your HD, your tape recorder... :)

I'm sure many guys around would like to trade with you...
Australian concerts are always highly valuable

No kidding.  I hope it's not another 6 or 7 years before quality recordings circulate.

I've always wondered how does one get into the concert with the taping equipment..es[ecially if they have a "no recording devices allowed" policy...haha..I'm sure there will be an obvious answer to this...but I'm intrigued...
If I had the expertise and equipment, of course I would gladly record and share with the rest of the cure fan world!

:D   I'll be there  still nothing about Melbourne up on the Ticketek site tho. Rang them this morning presales on Tuesday 19th June 12.00. They are having general admission tickets and seating tickets as well . Both will be on presale or public sale on Friday 9 am. Seats are $119.90 and General admission 99.90 according to the lady I spoke to. Some tickets are already gone before the presale but I am taking the chance for seats on the presale. I'm a bit old to be in with all you young ones LOL but they should be good seats regardless. Though I doubt if I'll be sitting down much at all. Can hardly wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My kids can't wait either cause it'll stop me buzzing around this place like a lunatic.

I just checked ticketek, and the information is up, here's the link

I'm probably going to get GA tickets but I'd have to line up pretty early to get a good position in the crowd. For presale tickets via internet apparently you need a special code.? not sure

:D Thanks for that. Don't know what the password thing is about, never mentioned that on the phone. Hmmmmmm maybe need to do a bit more investigating.
