I am 33 and this is going to be my first Cure concert! I could not be happier!!! I hope all the Emo wanna_be_goth kids dont beat me to ticketmaster on Friday!!!!

I am seriously going to cry when I listen to Disintegration of plainsong :smth020 live for the first time!!

any other 25-45 people in Melbourne, if you are on the same situation as me..... ( feeling like a misfit amongst you age group for liking the cure) and dont wanna hang out with 14 y.o kids wearing purple stockings and expecting the cure to be some sort of my chemical romance meets good charlotte  :smth011....I am going on  my own.  :)

:D  I think there are alot of "older" Cure fans going to the concert so don't panic. Age has it's benefits though. 27 years I been waiting for this. I was 18 in 1980 about the same age as alot of the younger fans who'll be going. I've the Cure in my life for over half of it so I'm blessed. Hehehe. I'll be in black , but then again I am in black almost everyday :D

I'm 20 Juanzor, is that too young?  I don't think i belong to any of the sub groups above-mentioned, I'm just a fan of the Cure and their music. I wouldn't mind meeting other local cure fans, whatever age they are :) So let's all beat the "14 year olds" on Friday morning and line up at Exhibition street nice and early!!! hahahaha :smth023

Ouh! You're so lucky! Congrats on getting the ticket, and it seems like you were lucky in getting a top spot. I'll be getting GA tiks on Friday... You'll probably have a great view of people like me in the standing area who'll be vying to get in the front row, haha

Billee, I shall hope to meet you both there!

Follow this link for the seating map.  Good seats juanzor  :smth023 I got 18 row F thanks to my gorgeous son who is very quick on the puter while I was fretting at work. LOL

Thanks for that seating map, it's just what I'd been looking for.  I got GA yesterday, but it says GA section 1.  Do you think it'll be divided, does anyone know.  Unfortunately for those who don't have tickets, I believe that the floor section is sold out.  This will be my first Cure show, and I'm really excited about it.  :D

(PS, Section 18, row F is where I'm sitting for Gwen Stefani , they're good seats.)

:D Thanks for that info. Hmmm sold out GA. Not that I'm surprised. Anyone know how many Rod Laver holds?

14,820 seats, I think the max for the floor is 1250, so thats a total of 16,070 people all up.

I don't have a credit card at the moment..poor uni student that I am..therefore I have been forced to obtain tickets the old school way...lining up outside the box office tommorow morning! I'm expecting there will be other Cure fans there keeping me company...right?hmmm Oh well I just don't want to miss out ( they're already sold out in GA and A grade seats)...I could never forgive myself. I was going to go alone, but a friend of mine (who isn't really a Cure fan..but appreciates the music) decided to come with me :) I'm just worried about how early I should be at Rod Laver i order to get a good position in the standing area. And yes...it would be quite a treat if they played DISI!!
