Last saturday I went just for curiosity to a Tatoo meeting here in Lima. Despite I would not make one myself (neither piercing) it was quite interesting to see all those pictures, designs and art over the body.

But because here are so many Curefans I wonder

-Do you have a Cure tatoo on your body (attach a pic if you can ;) ?
-If you would make one tatoo related to Cure, what would be about?

:D

I've got any tatoo. If I'll do, I think it will be Carnage Visors creature.

no, i don't have any. and if i'd ever want to take one, i really doubt it would be anything cure related.
well, everyone has their own taste of course. and sometimes i can appreciate tattoos too - but mostly if people use their own individual designs, their own language of expression. i think then it can become "art over the body" (if it's well done!), then i can see beauty in its permanence, in its irremovable nature. i think tattoos can be beautiful if they are used as a true form of self-expression. but to take a band/album logo or tattoo robert's face or something on your skin - well, personally i just don't see copying any kind of logos on to your body that interesting (like, why not just wear a band t-shirt? ;))
and i know some people disagree with me and say "but it's a sign of a real fan!" - but i just don't think a cure tattoo would make me any more dedicated fan. would it really enhance my love and dedication for the music?
so, not my thing, i guess.

yes i remember i have a look at this section on COF sometime before and im sorry but i must think most these tatoo people look very freaky, to put all that all over their bodies
and i think it can be telled that many of the tattoo artist who make these tattoos has really not that great skill in drawing or painting, and so often when they draw robert's face it does not even looking like robert but just some guy (or maybe a woman?!) so it's really freaky sometimes
ok just my opinion but sorry i think they more like scary

thanks

I guess that I am in the minority.....here is one of many:

I've been considering, off and on, getting the bird from the Wish/High artwork, either on the inside of a forearm, or worked into other stuff I have, but after seeing COF, I realized that I wasn't alone (there are quite a few), which led to me backing off a bit.

That's probably the one exception I would make, as it's not clearly band-related, and stands up pretty well on its own. Now, getting the band's logo -- or Robert's face!! -- that's a little nutty in my book.

Maybe if I freak out one day and make a sleeve out of it all (I'd have to be quite secure in my job/field), I'd work that in somewhere... The bird, not the face...

There is someone on COF with that! Not sure how well that stands up on its own - I mean, household appliances?  :smth011

LOL, Well I've done the Doc topic and the Punk topic... All that is left to me now is tattoo's and piercing's! So same deal as the others people... what have you got and where, how much did you pay and who did it. Most importantly did you cry????? Not too much to ask of you all now is it?

I have 5 tattoo's and 13 holes (which are all in the head region, so don't get all excited!). My most expensive tattoo was $200 from Tony Ranger in Surfers Paradise (Skin FX - the arm band), and the cheapest was from Brad Demon done at home and cost $50 (robert smith)!! I didn't cry, as I'm a brave little cookie... but the one on my foot was extremely painful... (on the bone you see!) And I have added the images for you all to gawk at!!! I'd be interested in any other Cure-ie tattoos, and have seen a load on the net of people with The Cure logo tattooed along forearms etc... Looks good!! I intend to get more tattoos when the budget allows, as in Tasmania, the tattooists seem to be really overpriced...
Come on people show some flesh!!!!

there's an existing topic about cure tattoos here:

that one was started about cure tattoos but maybe these topics could still be merged into one?
