Which microphone ???

I recently buy a MD SONY MZ-RH910 and I want to ask you which microphone do you recommend me ??? and do you have somes adress where I can buy it ???

In my opinion, some of the best recordings ever used these. You get what you pay for. 8)

I use core sound binaurals with a battery box and bass roll off filter.  I have found that the bass roll off is an integral part of my rig, especially since I tend to go to and tape very loud shows (Down, Sepultura, etc).  Using the filter keeps the mics from clipping at the high end.

Now as far as the OKM II Rock mics,  I have heard from others (as well as Caley) that they seem to capture a broader range.  I can't tell by the picture, but it looks like the CSB mics may be smaller than the OKM II, which would obviuosly be better for stealth recording.  One other thing, especially for tapers in the States- it looks as if the battery box on these is plastic.  This is a HUGE advantage over the CSBs (metal battery box)- especially when you have to go through metal detectors at some venues in the US.

I know a guy in the US that swears his Church Audio mics are the best....I think it may all be personal preference.  Good luck Tof- any other questions we'll do what we can to help!
