And what if she waits for me to "take the initiative" and getting in touch?  :expressionless:

You have already shown the initiative, I think. Now it's up to her. Let her come to you.
If you call and text too often, you risk a rejection. Give her a week or so. Maybe she feels
better then for the third (?) date. Think about Christmas. Everything is OK so far.  :angel

An old English poem about today from childhood....

The Fifth of November

    Remember, remember!
    The fifth of November,
    The Gunpowder treason and plot;
    I know of no reason
    Why the Gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot!
    Guy Fawkes and his companions
    Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
    All up alive.
    Threescore barrels, laid below,
    To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
    A stick and a stake
    For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
    I'll take two,
    The better for me,
    And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
    Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!

Yeah, that is what I've been trying for a week now ("feel it out")... will keep doing so.  :cool

The air is heavy with sulphur and the sky is lit up with many colours tonight. Beautiful   :heart-eyes

The autumn is my favorite season. Walked yesterday through the park at 5pm when it was getting dark.
Orange, green and yellow colors everywhere. Perfect sunset in the west. The fog rose slowly from a river.
Here and there a chirping robin. Large formations of crows in the distance - looking for a place to sleep in the
branches. Two grandmas with buggies and dog ahead in the twilight. Peace...

Question guys: Should trees have legal rights?

Oh god, the chronic tiredness is setting in along with the black dreamless sleeps where I'm aware of myself waiting for the alarm to ring out  :1f62b:

Well, this is at least something. We had recently a VIP godparent campaign in the Hambacher forest
for selected trees. At that point the public opinion has already shifted - thanks to the media coverage.
And the administrative courts aren't unimpressed by that. That impressed me, on the other hand. We
need justice and not dog-eat-dog capitalism.

Ok, but what about the grass then? Will it then be able to sue me if I come with the lawnmower? :pensive:

It's an intreeguing concept isn't it? Do you think by giving tree's legal rights, it goes far enough though? Ecuador has the protection of mother earth, Pacha Mama, written into their constitution.

I don't know, you shall have to ask it and it can talk with its lawyer

On the one hand, I think it's good when people do protest against the deforestation of certain areas (especially if they are beautiful old trees), on the other hand: often these things go "unnoticed" during building projects at the edge of town or so. It can go so quickly and if/when anyone takes notice, it's too late. :1f62a:

And then we have a crazy guy becoming president in Brazilia, who is actually "pro" deforestation of the rain forest(s)... sadly the trees won't be able to sue him.  :unamused:
