Flight tickets secured. Will arrive the 7th and leave on 9th. If anyone has a friend or relative in Dublin and is willing to offer a couch let me know, because the accommodation prices in this city are absolutely ridiculous! :pouting-face

Found an accommodation to reasonable price (25 EUR/night) and just applied online for the Irish visa. This will be my first Cure gig of 2019

I was reading earlier about a room renting in Dublin for £430 a month that couldn't even fit a single bed  :1f636: oft.

Hey I was wondering if there are some Irish cureheads on this site, as me- and I was wondering if any of you guys where going to the Malahide gig? .°•☆

I am not Irish, but I am going :)! Are you based in Dublin? If yes, we are looking for a place to organize a fan meeting the day prior to the gig. Maybe you can give us some suggestions?

I am actually not Dublin based - I am Limerick based! But that's so cool! I'd love a meeting- I'm driving up there though, it's not a long drive for us.

I am going with my sister and my father - this will be my Dad's 3rd time seeing them, he saw them on the Prayer Tour and the Wish tour before, I have his old tickets - I'm so jealous of him! ♢○•°.

Awe sorry I mis-read that. The way school falls in Ireland means that the day before the concert - I have an exam. I was hoping to make some friends, but agh, I might meet some amazing people at the gig (obviously haha :D)

well, we will meet for sure with other cureheads the day of the concert, not a "big" fan gathering like the day before, but sure we will, so will let you know. there will be others from this forum going too. take cure!

:D ah well - heck, maybe I'll meet you at the merchandising tent! Also I've been to Malahide before: it's a lovely castle inside, I'm unsure if it's (practical wise) good though, but it will be nice. I hope weather will be good!

One more month until Dublin. My first time in Ireland. Lovely venue to open the festivalseason of my favourite band. At Malahide website no further information about this event yet or am I wrong? Does anyone know the lineup-order/timetable of this show? :)

dsanchez

Welcome to the forum, Webbie!

All we know so far is that the gates will open 16:00 and everything will be over by 22:35. We still don't have the detailed program of the day but will post it as soon as we know. The order will be the one described in the flyer: just mustard, The Twilight Sad, Ride and then The Cure.

Been a fan for quite some and also knew this forum but up until now not a member but with these summershows coming up it was time to join. :smth023  Thnakx for the info. Will be staying in the citycentre and was just checking the travelroute to the castle. Irish Rail/DART I found out. They go quite often and also after concert returning back to the centre, but there was no option for buying a ticket. Are trains already full or can you buy a ticket at the station like Pearse or Tara Street?
