No one has commented here yet so I'll do the honours:

As discussed elsewhere the order was reversed, so b-sided and rarities before the Disintegration tracks. This made for a unique start, with RS walking out with the rest of the band and discussing the plan for the night. He mentioned that he felt the order of set list the night earlier may have not been as engaging as planned. Between tracks in that first set he was very talkative which was lovely, and he shared some facts. Such as that some tracks didn't progress beyond instrumentals because 'some' members (Roger pointed to Simon) would make up silly lyrics, so then it was hard to play the track without hearing those lyrics (haha).
The start of Plainsong was a bit bizarre as it was like band members snuck back onstage without the audience really noticing. Everyone was seated and fairly quiet, but eagerly listening (I wonder if it may have been received differently? They seemed to look/chat with each other (my impression was they were noticing how quiet it was) then Robert gave a gesture/look to the audience which I felt conveyed ("huh? Why are you all so quiet?" ...I may be guessing that) to which everyone seemed to respond strongly, all cheering etc.

overall another great show, though with slightly bizarre feel to the audience and atmosphere tonight.  The extra encore at the end was appreciated!!
Ending with Pirate Ships is haunting, especially when theres an old tall ship currently docked out front of the Opera House...(!)

Oh sorry, I think I assumed everyone else checks the same sites as me 😆

It was mentioned here:

Well, sometimes I do (CoF), but in this case there was no need really, as I didn't expect the setlist to change much!

Changing the setlist order was a good idea (setlist updated in the first post of this topic, by the way), however I would have included 'Burn' and 'Pirate Ships' together with the rest at the beginning, and close the show with a powerful song e.g. Killing An Arab, The Kiss or Faith. Having said that, of course I would give my left arm to be there, regardless of the setlist!

I personally only check this forum, The Cure official sites, Twitter and cure-concerts.de for setlists. That should cover any information related to the band ;)

I finally got around to listening to some of the audio recordings from the Sydney shows (which are great quality by the way! really great sound).  I was keen to listen to the show from 25/5/19 as I recall how RS spoke with us lots, which was lovely.

I've transcribed a bit of what he said for those that weren't there, as I thought there was some interesting stuff said.  Or perhaps go and listen for yourself, its a beautiful show with amazing sound, and it felt so lovely to be hearing from RS like this...  I experienced it like a conversation with a friend  :)
(DSanchez ...where did that link to the audio go?  Did it disappear or is it just me unable to find it?)

They start by walking onstage, and RS walks up to the mic (unexpected!)
>"thank you, and thank you for coming. We're changing things this evening from how we did it yesterday.  So I'm going to try to engage you more, with saying things about the Disintegration album and all that went into making it.  I'm not going to say that much, don't worry.  So yesterday we did the album and we did stuff after it, and tonight we're going to do it the other way around.  ..so the first bunch of songs... when we recorded the album we recorded demos obviously, in 1988, and we recorded about 30 songs and we'll play about 20 of them tonight.  So the first lot, some of them are songs that didn't get further than demos, and some of them are b-sides, ...anyway, the first one is one that didn't get further than demo. ... Be kind."

*No Heart*
>"There was something missing wasn't there.   That was called No Heart, and the reason it was called no heart was because when we played the demo i felt like we played with really no heart , which is why it didn't go any further"...

...

>"And here's another one that didn't quite make it. there's two reasons why some songs didn't make it. the main one was that the others used to make up words to the songs when we were doing demos, and honestly I can't sing the words that they used to make up because they're so vile .   ...Some of these songs I really loved ....
and when I sat down to write all I could hear were these idiot words, and that's why for example a song like this never got any further"
*Esten*
>"The more we play that one the more I like it."

...

>"Another b-side, although I used to wish this was on the album.  See what you think..."
*2Late*

....

>"The last one in this very weird intro to the Disintegration album, is a song that we did, and see this is another example of ones that they sang it to death"
*Strums the riff to Delirious Night on his guitar*
>"and you can all think of words to that right?"
*Strums the riff again*
*Laughs*
>"You see 30yrs later and they are all singing it behind my back, its awful. Eventually I got to sing it .... this is called Delirious Night"
