The song is nice (all three versions)  :smth020 but not the best of Robert's collaborations...

Not so bad... Robert's voice is still sounding pretty healthy, though.  Gives me some hope for the new album.

another story about "Please":

Hartnoll sent the music for Please to Robert Smith and heard nothing back at all. Six months later, Hartnoll had given up on Smith. He was already mixing the album when he finally got an e-mail: “Just found this. Am I too late?”

Fortunately not, as Please is one of the standout tracks, with Smith in fine form.
