fixing SBEs (sector boundary errors)

a good point. actually quite a few cure shows recently shared on dime have unfixed SBEs. :!:
people should really check the SBEs before burning to disc/archiving in flac. otherwise these are likely to cause problems later on.

that means sector boundary errors. if SBEs are unfixed, it does not harm the data files (flac) but it will cause small microgaps between the tracks when burning audio cds - thus it's something pretty important to pay attention to. :!:
for instance any kind of editing of the files will cause the SBEs to change: for instance if you cut a small useless silence from the beginning of the files, SBEs will change. if you do a speed change, the SBEs will change. the same goes with re-splitting the files etc. etc.
