Pearl interview a few weeks ago

As always, feel free to move this if I've gotten the placement wrong.

Pearl did an hour-long (satellite?) radio interview a few weeks back, link pasted above.
There were two interviewers, each instantly dislikable but in their own separate ways.  Despite all that, they did manage to come up (eventually) with some good questions (in between bouts of that 'gushy fan' nonsense).  There have been, what, 2 or 3 interviews in the last month?  It's all left me a lot more optimistic about The Cure generally and Pearl specifically.  There are some surprises in there so go have a listen.  Could be the most words he's strung together, while being near either a camera or a microphone, possibly ever.  The whole thing was fascinating.  The whole 'Pearl' idea seems to have been an opportunity to open up another means of expression, rather than anything else, not that it's any of my business anyway.
