Hi, people.

It was about time that I got myself registered on a Cure-forum  :P

I was born in '73. When I got old enough to get interested in music, the eighties was well started. I very quickly discovered various synth music through the radio. Depeche Mode, Howard Jones, Ultravox, Kraftwerk, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys etc. Then my mom and dad installed a satellite dish, and voila ... MTV  :smth023

I remember seeing a video by a strange band with lots of hair, sitting in a closet that was falling towards a raging sea. And I thought "Hmm. This is too strange for me. But kinda fun, playing on a comb and stuff."

A few years later I found a new friend, and he had an older brother who was very interested in music. He had all kinds of CDs and he willingly let me borrow them.

One day I borrowed Disintegration, Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and Pornography... and I was hooked. Totally hooked. Disintegration was the best album I had ever heard. And it still is.

My eyes still go a bit moist when Plainsong starts

A few weeks ago I got my second Cure-tattoo. On October 11 me and my friend are going to Oslo Spektrum. And in December we are going to London to see two concerts at Wembley SSE Arena.

Good times  :-D
...there's nothing left to burn.
