Holy shit...RS sounds A MILLION TIMES better than KC.  Still doesn't sound right, but I can tell you, this song was great with him barely singing.  And to hear it here with him in better shape but still not 100% the song is great.  What a great way to open a show!

but i just always find it so weird that people use the word 'boot'. boots are something you wear like shoes, right? ;)
and even use the word 'bootleg' - to me that means something sold for profit, something pressed on silver cd/pressed on vinyl and sold by some sneaky evil company.
a lot of tapers today don't like their recordings being called "bootlegs" for this reason. why not call them just "recordings"?

Underneath the stars sounds very good even if its difficult to make an opinion with this not so good recording.

Question to the happy guys who have seen this song played live, what does Robert play ? A standard Ultra or his simili 6 string Ultra bass-like ?

I was at the show... it was a complete religious experience, for sure  :-D  Just wondering if anyone else that was there noticed the lightning over the city skyline during "Hot, Hot, Hot"?  Talk about perfect timing.  See, it proves it right there - - Robert IS a God  ;)  I don't recall seeing lightning at all during the rest of the show either... very odd, but completely amazing!!!!

Thanx for sharing your photos!!  I was in row 22 and even though the seats were decent, my camera is ummmmm.... not so much. *I've already been promised a new one for my birthday due to my devastation at the show due to my blurry shots  :smth011

Force of habit, really. I agree that "recordings" sounds much nicer and is more accurate."Boot" is easier to type though  ;).

I like the boots site too - will have to ask the wife which ones she thinks I will look best in..... 8)
