My old mate A.J. passed away a few weeks ago, which I heard yesterday. He was in a wheelchair and not well, I could see it wouldn't last forever, but still sad he had to go already...

Now it's official: both houses were sold on January 1st. However, information is scarce. It got to the point where tenants stopped making their monthly payments. Added to that is another death after an already turbulent year. This fits with a conversation I "eavesdropped" yesterday, according to which the city has "given up" on certain residential areas. Possibly ours too. Only newcomers and people who have had to cope with one or more breaks in their lives live there. I was already ready to ask the real estate agent whether they also sell to J*ws. But I didn't want to be that bold. To be continued.
