By the way - the page asks you to enter a UK postcode, but it does not ask you anywhere to be a UK resident to apply for the tickets. Just fill in everything and enter a valid UK postcode (Google it first). If you have a friend in the UK, then ask him/her to use their address.

Note: I don't live in the UK.

Ignore the above, from the T&C: "the registration is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, aged 18 and over"

Quote...a rare, intimate concert for BBC Radio 2 on October 30, but it appears that only UK residents can apply for tickets. Held at the BBC Radio Theatre in London, this special performance offers a small, lucky audience the chance to see the band in a uniquely personal setting just ahead of the release of Songs of a Lost World, their first album in 16 years.

For those unable to attend, the concert will be broadcast on Jo Whiley's BBC Radio 2 show from 7-9pm GMT on Halloween, including an exclusive interview with frontman Robert Smith. The band will also perform earlier in the day on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 6 Music show, airing between 4-7pm GMT, in a 6 Music Session featuring more tracks from their long-awaited album.

I'm curious to see if Roger will be back. He sounded like he had mostly recovered.  :smth023
I was alone most of the time. My husband would simply disappear without a word.

Radio 6 Music Session setlist (also Oct 30th):

Plainsong, Last Dance, I Can Never Say Goodbye, Burn, And Nothing Is Forever, At Night, A Forest, All I Ever Am, Prayers For Rain, Disintegration

(the BBC radio 6 site lists "A Forest" twice, but to me it sounds like "Prayers for rain"!)

Huw Stephens presents an exclusive and intimate session from The Cure.

Recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre in London's Broadcasting House the band perform songs from their acclaimed back-catalogue, as well as tracks from their upcoming album Songs Of A Lost World. This session will also be available in vision on BBC iPlayer, alongside a performance for BBC Radio 2 In Concert.

Initially formed in 1978, The Cure has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, headlined the Glastonbury festival four times and were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. They are considered to be one of the most influential bands to ever come out of the UK.

Songs Of A Lost World sees the band release their first new music in sixteen years. The album was produced by Smith and Paul Corkett, who co-produced The Cure's 2000 album Bloodflowers. The album features contributions from Robert Smith, Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums), Reeves Gabrels (guitar) and Roger O'Donnell (keyboards).

Robert Smith of The Cure, says: "It's not often we perform such intimate shows, so we're really looking forward to this, and to sharing more tracks from the new album for the first time on 6 Music and Radio 2."
