We will be meeting at Bar X which is right next to the venue:

Since doors for the concert will open 18:15 we will be meeting in this bar from 16:00

The bar is stylish, so probably expensive. But I am pretty sure the beers won't be more expensive than those sold at the venue :D Normally we prefer more 'alternative' bars, but to be honest there were not too many (good) options in the area that we were aware of.

An alternative is at walking distance: O'Learys Tolv Stockholm (https://goo.gl/maps/WJZeDiPxFm6mhhpW6). However I didn't want to propose this because it has very bad reviews. Hopefully Bar X will turn out to be a good choice!

Yo! Mr. D. You also have this, the view is fab! A bit further from the venue but I would say, worth it! Should not be that many visitors as early as 16:00. https://www.sjostadenskybar.se/english/ The song for this venue should be High :)

It was an option, but with a 2.5 rating in TripAdvisor I didn't want to risk

By the way, I was just got confirmation from Bar X management that The Cure music will be played today.

Is everyone going to the fan zone (front) or the general standing area?

Heading soon to NK Saluhall (my favorite food place in Stockholm) for a lunch, should be there around 14:30. Then heading straight to the venue and Bar X for the meetup.

I'm fortunate enough to have seen the band again yesterday night, this time in Stockholm. Again, great sound (sound better than Helsinki), energy and Robert's voice (!). Highlights were of course the Pornography set which would have been expected considering Cold was played the previous date in Helsinki and a third song from the new album titled "And Nothing is Forever" already shared by @Rietan above. Place was packed and I would say at 85% capacity (16,000 max.). Cool venue in a shape of a balloon hence the name "The Globe"

The standing area was divided in two sectors, the 'fan zone' and the regular standing area. This allowed me to get easily in the first row without major effort. Previous to the concert I met fellow member @lacrima mosa and curefans who made the trip from the US: Angel and her husband, and Barb and her husband. We were discussing on what the encore would be (and I hinted Pornography which in the end it happened ;) and what songs should be dropped from the mainset with certain consensus on FTEOTDGS. Because there was a football match happening around the same time as the concert (and the football stadium is right next to The Globe) the Bar X where we planned the fan meetup was packed by Hammarby supporters who outnumbered curefans.

The concert had the usual mainset structure:

During the show Robert said "this is a song we have never played before" and introduced "And Nothing is Forever". This is the third song of the upcoming new album played in this tour, and yet another melancholic track. Check the lyrics yourself:

I noticed that Reeves guitars need more volume in "Want", and didn't like that the epic solo guitar in "Strange Day" was accompanied by Jason's cymbals. I would have loved to hear only that solo, and nothing else at The Globe.

Highlights of the night were "Cold" and "One Hundred Years" played masterfully, probably among the best-ever live versions for these songs. Perhaps I should mention also "Alone" which I find to be an excellent opening song.

The last encore, the pop one, had "Primary" as a surprise. It was interesting to see how much of audience got nuts when Friday or JLH was played, yet didn't move much with the fast "Primary". As I said before, the pop encore pays The Cure fees, so I consider these to be "mandatory" in the setlist, wether we like it or not.

The Cure's tour so far is excellent, and the upcoming album will likely to be the best in many years.

Up next: Oslo!

Thanks for the report David. It was an amazing setlist and the new song... awww simply heartbreaking. Can't wait to hear it live!! 🖤
Lets my memory be perverted to the uses
Of lying and oppression.
My lovers and their children must not be dispossessed of me;
I would be the untarnished possession forever
Of those for whom I lived.
