On Wednesday 30 October, BBC Radio 2 will welcome The Cure into the BBC Radio Theatre for a very special In Concert performance with a limited audience.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 9pm on Wednesday 9 October.

You can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets.

Applicants will need to be available to get to the BBC Radio Theatre in London for admission from 6pm. Final entry is 7.45pm. The concert will finish at 9.15pm.

Ticket registration is available to all residents of the UK aged 18 and over.

** Please note that this is a standing concert and no seating will be available **

By the way - the page asks you to enter a UK postcode, but it does not ask you anywhere to be a UK resident to apply for the tickets. Just fill in everything and enter a valid UK postcode (Google it first). If you have a friend in the UK, then ask him/her to use their address.

...a rare, intimate concert for BBC Radio 2 on October 30, but it appears that only UK residents can apply for tickets. Held at the BBC Radio Theatre in London, this special performance offers a small, lucky audience the chance to see the band in a uniquely personal setting just ahead of the release of Songs of a Lost World, their first album in 16 years.

For those unable to attend, the concert will be broadcast on Jo Whiley's BBC Radio 2 show from 7-9pm GMT on Halloween, including an exclusive interview with frontman Robert Smith. The band will also perform earlier in the day on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 6 Music show, airing between 4-7pm GMT, in a 6 Music Session featuring more tracks from their long-awaited album.
