I've been getting this absolutely RIDICULOUS spam over the last couple of months. Check out the names of the senders!

Chew F. Snort. Can't beat that one. What a nice picture that brings to mind... It just makes me laugh to think of the morons who concoct this crap. And most of the time the links they give are broken, and some of the messages don't make any sense at all. How are these fools intending to make money?

But most of all, I'd surely trust my money with people with names like this.

what geniuses!

this isn't exactly a spam story, but about bad/hardly understandable use of language anyway:
i recently received an absolutely hilarious email (someone was trying to advertise his/her new method for teaching musical skills to small children etc). anyway, it seemed like it was translated from some (i don't know what) language by using some internet translation program which produced somewhat amazing sentences. for instance:

'Such a notable playartist because NIKOLAUS HARNONCOURT and FRANZ WELSER-MOEST to obtain mentions RUGERI order is excellent
Exemplary
for this time music provisions!'

And it all started with:

'My dear ladies room and gentleman'   :smt045

I'm sorry to chime in so late on this one but I must have missed it way back when.  Anyway, this is actually for Jeff, didn't our little mid-west friend begin their 'Pseudo Babble" around this same time???  I'm still trying to figure out what in the hell he's saying.  Actually, I don't really want to know as it will just give me a headache.  Did "spam" play a part in his demise???  Should we offer to buy him a really good spam blocker?  I know for my own sanity's sake, it would be money well spent.  If we did do this, maybe the rumors of the new "dic" in the heartland are true...taking money from those who support you only to have a corn cob shoved somewhere you really don't want it...  Talk about needing "squeezable butter".

Ok, I remember now. What I saw before wasn't so bad compared to what I saw today. Before it was just one of those blog pages with a bunch of nonsense words. I figured the guy must have been retarded or something, so I let it slide.

But some of the stuff I saw today... :shock: Who are these idiots? Well, they're all gone now. Hopefully no innocent bystanders got wiped out in the process. I'll be keeping my eye on this in the future!

a friend recently sent me some email. then a few hours later i received another email from her which was an invitation email to this site.
i generally don't accept these sort of things since i'm not into myspace etc. etc. at all, but since it came from a good friend so i clicked yes without really thinking about it...
and a bit later my friend sends me another emails saying "do NOT click yes!!" - because she never sent that invitation to me at all. it appears that this site works like once they get hold of your email address they keep sending random invitations to just about anyone you might send email to... and without you being able to know about it - which is definitely NOT cool but the worst kind of spam!  :smth011

i really hope my email isn't all ruined and "polluted" now. :(
i did cancel the invitation & the account created there but not sure if it works... if it doesn't work, then i don't know what to do.
do i need to give up and change my email address? huh... oh dear. :(

anyway, i suggest you do NOT click "yes" if you receive one of these from anyone.  :!:

I think the "idiots" you're referring to are just bots. Just random words put together, along with letters. Although, I don't ever get spam..and I don't have a spam filter.

I don't really know how that works. Well..I get 2 spam emails a week, probably. Nothing compared to other people, though.

it's not just on youtube, it's everywhere... there are blogs where you can fill out the right side for yourself and stuff..  

i agree that something should be done to make the classics more popular among kids, but chain comments on youtube are not exactly the right way  :? doesn't really show any dignity !
