...IN RESPONSE TO A PARTICULAR CASE IS THIS:
Without the reference number, I can't look into this ladies particular case,
however if she is the lady whom I think spoke to one of our operators the other
day, then these tickets were booked on line and if she had read the terms
and conditions she would have seen that there is a maximum of 4 tickets for
The Cure. We also have the following info printed on -line:
Please note that there is a strict limit of 4 tickets per household for each
TCT concert. Duplicate bookings may be cancelled without notice.
When you book on-line you can only select 4 tickets for The Cure which means
she had to then go back and re book the 3 other tickets. If she had turned
up on the day (and we had not spotted that she had booked over the limit) we
wouldn't have just have cancelled them, we would have given her the
opportunity to have one of her party purchase them with a credit card billed
to another address.
THIS 4TX PER HOUSEHOLD THING IS PRETTY STANDARD - HARD TO THINK OF TOO MANY WORKABLE MEASURES TO ENSURE FANS NOT TOUTS GET TX... 24HOURS ADVANCE NOTICE ON THIS SITE WAS ANOTHER ONE WE EMPLOYED...
ANYWAY
WE CAN'T CONTROL EVERY PART OF THE PROCESS - PARTICULARLY WHEN IT'S NOT REALLY 'OUR' SHOW
AND TO THOSE WITHOUT... WE WILL BE PLAYING LONDON AGAIN LATER IN THE YEAR!

WE GET THE PLUGS PULLED AT 10:45PM I THINK! SO AROUND 3HOURS OF MUSIC - WE ARE PLAYING THE SHOW BECAUSE WE ADMIRE THE WORK TCT DOES - WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO PLAY A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE BUT HAVEN'T BEEN IN A POSITION TO SAY YES - BUT THE SHOW IS IN ISOLATION - WE ARE RECORDING AT THE MOMENT... IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO INTRODUCE NEW SONGS/NEW STAGING/NEW LIGHTING FOR A ONE OFF SHOW AND GET IT TO WORK WITHOUT SPENDING WEEKS IN PRE-PRODUCTION REHEARSALS - SO WE WILL BE BASING THE NIGHT AROUND THE 45 OR SO SONGS WE PLAYED LAST SUMMER... WITH MAYBE A COUPLE OF SURPRISES?!!
