Do you know what is the best audience recording of the Prayer Tour ?
It seems that the soundboard & FM broadcast does not exist ...

i didn't heard the shows from 89 for a long time but as far as i remember the second night from paris sounds very good. the first or second night from london sounds good as well. also some of the american recordings have a good sound (maybe because they played open air?)...

Sure! July 09 Palais Omnisport, Paris Bercy, France is great, great set and good sound (at least the one from the bootleg)
I also like very much:
June 09 Palasport, Torino (Italy) from the Hot Hot Hot!!! Bootleg
May 17 1989 Schleyer-Halle, Stuttgart (Germany)
I can't remember, but in my list I have June 21 Velodromo Municipal, Barcelona (Spain) as a good one.
I might disagree regarding the American shows, but well, I only have 13 of those. I wouldn't know if open air venues sound better, at least not when you're far from the stage! September 10 Mountain View, CA, USA from the Parched Corn Boot is fair.
