Title: A Letter To Elise (Avenches)
Post by: Tristan Berlin on August 21, 2005, 04:35:36
Hey guys. I need your opinion. What do you think about the elise-version from Avanches? For me it is the best I'v ever heard. Robert sang with so much passion, the guitars were so wonderful. The atmosphere might be so lovely. Especially when Rob sang "....there's nothing else I can really do..." at the end of the song I'm going grazy. I'm a Man but it's very hard to hide my tears of joy listening to that song.

I'm not very happy since many month (leaving of my girlfriend, disease of my grandpa, uncertain future) but during this 5 minutes of music I feel like the happiest man in the world. Thanks to the Cure for making me feel like that.  :smt055

Sorry, but I am not of the same opinion.
Mind you, I have just listened to it once.  :?
My opinion might change but I miss the delicateness of the studio version at the end...

ciao
completely agree, even for the tears...many years i didn't listen to a deep passion in a song.

sure the best version i ever heard and the best perfomance in avenches.
it was worth the travel to svizzera.
