Title: is there any possible way to fix a track to make it sound not so much mp3 source
Post by: Curetastraphy on December 15, 2006, 04:41:22
Recently I recieved a cd(burnt)from a band thats not so known. When I listened to the cd it sounded horrible and seemed like its been heavily Mp3 sourced...Soon after I looked to see If the cd was still available for purchase at any local music store...but guess what---Its out of print...So is there any possible way to fix a track to make it sound not so much mp3 sourced or just to fix it up...It'll be even better If someone could do it for me

I'm on my slow computer so It may take me a while to give you a sample in WAV format...so just pm and I'll give one track

thanks

This is a perfect example of why we've moved away from mp3 downloads on here. Once something is mp3'd, there's no going back. Layers are stripped away from the original sound. That's why mp3, OGG, and related   formats are called "lossy".

I'm not sure what your source material is, but there's really no "undoing" an mp3 compression. What's done is done. :(
