The best band of the planet will borrow two of it's greatest songs, Plainsong and All cats are grey for the latest Sofia Coppola film, Marie Antoinette. Is nothing new the great musical taste of this beautiful, amazing, wonderful and clever woman  (remember playing MBV and J&MCH in her "Lost in translation" film).
Hope they will show soon the movie in Peru cos I think will be in Europe by this weekend.

i haven't seen this film yet but i was actually just planning today to on friday. i liked 'lost in translation' a lot.
the soundtrack looks like nice mix from aphex twin to couperin... interesting to see and hear how it'll work out in the film.
Is Plainsong in its original form on the soundtrack? As in, with the same long wind-chime intro, and not remastered?
There's no one I'm shelling out the money for the soundtrack (despite the fact that is a very nice one, of which I very much approve), but I am rather curious.
Has anyone noticed that Plainsong really sounds like Remastered?
Disintegration's song is more dull and quiet, you know.
Definitely this one from soundtrack is better :smth023
I really want to get this soundtrack. :smth020 It seems like a cool movie too :)
