I cant make a poll for this as theres 65 songs on it. So just say which songs you like best and why. Mine are:
- A Chain of Flowers (just beautiful)
- 2 Late (great song, happy and sad at the same time)
- Fear of Ghosts (like lullaby only much creepier)
- It Used to Be Me (Id like to know what Robert was thinking when he kept this off WMS)
- Signal to Noise (wouldve been a great song for them to go out on, but maybe its better that they diddnt)
This Twilight Garden, The Exploding Boy, both versions of Lament, The Dream, The Upstairs Room... Too difficult. Like the album tracks, it's easier to pick what you don't like...
Hmm... Probably Fear of Ghosts, It Used To Be Me, or Burn.
And sixty-five songs? I count seventy....
-A chain of flowers
-This twilight garden
and much more....
"JOIN THE DOTS" IS ANOTHER PRODUCT THAT SETS THE STANDARDS FOR ALL BANDS!

What i dont like? hmm all the covers and Wrong Number [P2P Mix] (completely ruined the song, it wasnt even that good of a song to begin with).
and yeah it is 70 songs, i forgot i took all the Japanese Whispers songs off my ipod.
The P2P mix of Wrong Number is pretty sub-par.... But I like the psychedelic mix of Hello, I Love You. I dig Descent, too. Really an outlier in their discography. It's well-done, I think.
It's all so good. The 1st and 2nd discs have so much great music.
Cold, Burn, Big Hand, Twighlight Garden, Just One Kiss, 2 Late, Lament, A Few Hours After This, Mr. Pink Eyes. There are so many great b-sides (I know Burn wasn't a B-side)...
What can I choose first? There are so many excellent songs.
Signal to noise
A chain of flowers
Fear of ghosts
This twilight garden
Too late
The big hand
A foolish arrangement
The exploding boy
Harold and Joe
came to my mind first but there many many others.
If you put a gun in my head I would say Fear of ghosts or A chain of flowers or...
OK OK don't shoot!
What a divine group! And I believe it proves it with JTD more than with any other album-collection etc
This is a loaded question, here it goes though:
A FEW HOURS AFTER THIS, THIS TWILIGHT GARDEN, EXPLODING BOY, LAMENT, UPSTAIRS ROOM, I'M COLD, TO THE SKY, BABBLE, SCARED AS YOU, IT USED TO BE ME, ADONAIS, HOME, WAITING, AND SIGNAL TO NOISE.
Sugar Girl

haha
my favourite songs of this collection are
A Chain Of Flowers and This Twilight Garden
I'd have to say all, but right now I'm thinking:
S-S-S-S-STOP DEAD
Very catchy/New Wave-y song.
I also love "I WANT TO BE OLD", and find the lyrics very ironic considering that was one of Robert's fears at one point (to grow old)
Join The Dots, such a scrumptious collection of songs. So hard to pick a few favorites...
Well, I'm very grateful for the Maybe Someday acoustic version, like it more than the original. More Than This is good, and I hear it's from the X-files! Originally written for the show/movie, perchance? Oh and To the sky: the melody sounds kind of breezy, like a cold and beautiful spring morning, and then Robert sings the first line "One perfect morning I was all alone..." Happy-sad perfection!
Someone has said Freak Show/Don't Say Anything sounds like Throw your foot, but I don't hear that, do you? I like em both!
Here's a list of where the songs come from (what single and so forth):

I love A Chain Of Flowers, The Big Hand, To The Sky... :P :P
Can't think of too many artists who've had such great songs as flip-sides...maybe only Prince/The Banshees. 'A Chain of Flowers' stands out - it's good enough to be an album track...no doubt. Pretty much all of the first two discs contains top-notch material though.
Breathe, Burn, Fear of ghosts
10:15 Saturday Night is a Cure classic!!
The Big Hand (love the guitars), Lament, Plastic Passion, Splintered In Her Head, A Japanese Dream, Fear Of Ghosts, Etc etc...
Every song on the box set is wonderful. What a great band The Cure are, to have such brilliant b-sides. :smth020
There are so many great songs here...Some that I've heard before and many new. The best discoveries for me are:
This Twilight Garden (how is this not on Wish?)
2 Late
The Exploding Boy
Fear of Ghosts
A Japanese Dream
Babble
10:15 Saturday Night
Descent
New Day
The Exploding Boy
To The Sky
Babble
2 Late
Fear Of Ghosts
Burn
This Is A Lie (Ambient Mix)

The Exploding Boy
My dream of a B-side collection with Cure started in 1985 with this brilliant track hidden as a B-side on In Between Days. Still one of their absolute top three tunes if You ask me.
