For me it's easy. But that's possibly because I'm English right?

I will say this though. I live & work in Hungary & my English was full of slang & colloquialisms that non-native English speakers simply didn't understand.
I had to virtually "re-learn" the "queen's" English to make sure I was understood by customer & suppliers alike. That was quite hard & required a lot of discipline.

But today, all of that is out of the window, as it's International talk like a pirate (http://www.talklikeapirate.com/howto.html) day today.

So, avast me landlubbing dawgs or I'll see ye swing from the yard arm. Harrr, harrr etc...

personally i'd say easy, as far as managing myself on forums etc. is concerned.
i need to use english a lot in my work, most publications in my line of work are in english and i also have to teach a lot with english textbooks (simply because no translations to finnish exist) so rather good english skills are more or less necessary to have.
also, there's no single cure board in finnish either so...

Actually we could open a "finnish board" on the "other voices" section (just like the italian forum). But of course I guess we need more finnish people in curefans.com

no, that would be totally ridiculous. it would pretty much be just me singing "dancing with myself"...
i just said it because i meant that if you're from a country like mine, you simply must speak english to find other fans to speak with because there's not enough fanbase in your own country. sometimes i truly envy english-speakers and also some other european countries: because people can find places to discuss the cure with their own language...

(what was it that i replied to steve there? well, what did the online translators tell you? ;))

I think it's easy in comparison with e.g. French or German. Okay i'm a native German speaker, but i think
sometimes German is not easy :)

Malaysia must be difficult, I have learnt some Japanese- easier if you are living/staying there, easier to learn.

But Far Far your English is good.  :smth023    Tell me do you think in Malaysian ?
And i cant answer your question because i learnt from birth, so ? But i know it is hard to learn another language as an adult.

After i had been in Japan for almost 2 months I started to dream in Japanese, That was weird.!

But i can speak pirate- eey cern onn nw layds- brrring mee serm vwisky eeeeeiiii, aaaaaarrrrrrrrrr geod meyn, rowl inn en poip im onn shaykels- sown strytn im upp. ;)

I see what you mean - with English things can be written, different to how they are pronounced., that must be tricky to learn, ~I havent learnt French, but that does sound like a  very difficult one.- with the sounds.
I have learnt some German- which i thought was a good language- made sense to me, but i wont say easy !! and i would need alot of practise, to refresh my memory.  Japanese I found a perceptive language, as alot of it, is body language for me, their mannerisms made it alot easier to understand, but still i havent learnt all the Japanese language, I can get by and understand what people are saying to me, Even if sometimes i cant answer properly- but they do understand, by my couple of words reply, so.. I get by.  :)
Language is just so interesting to me, and still want to travel so much !!!

And above i was just making fun of 'pirate ship talk'.**********    :D    it says ei(yes) come on now lad's (boys)- bring me some whisky ei, arrrrr (pirate noise) good men, roll in and pop him on the shakels, soon straighten him up ;) -being silly buga.
