Wow.. such extraordinary emotion expressed .. what media is used?
I love the first one , with the eyes looking at me, and of course, the 3rd one .. mother's love.. what beauty!! :smth023

Thank you so much scatcat and disintegration .
The first one was colored with Photoshop 7. It was originally, a scanned drawing of mine.
The other two are pencil on paper.

What fabulous art... it is wonderful that so many talented people share with us here. I applaud each and every one. Those drawings are incredible. The "mothers pain" hit me right between the eyes. Well done.... :smth038

These are all great, but I especially wish I were articulate enough to tell you what the one with the mother and her child does to me.... When I saw it I had a visceral reaction, like someone grabbed a hold of my stomach and squeezed.
So, I'm no art critic and I haven't got the lingo, but I hope I've made myself clear. :smth041

You don't have to be an art critic to give your views or enjoy a work of art.
And yur reaction, on that one artwork, couldn't have been better put.
