Have you heard them?
Yeeeeeees! :-D
Some more info please. Which tracks and where are they from? Thanks!!! :-D
A fan sent me a CD with these three tracks, that were named as:
01 - Lovesong (Instrumental Group Demo)
02 - Lullaby (Instrumental Group Demo)
03 - Pictures Of You (Instrumental Group Demo)
Plus Robert was shared some demos on Greatest Hits site, and there was further songs (from Disintegration):
1988 - Lullaby (Robert's Instrumental Home Demo) (aka RS3 Arched)
1988 - Pictures Of You (Robert's Instrumental Home Demo) (aka XP)
1988-09 - Love Song (Instrumental Group Demo) (aka S2)
Actually I suppose its the same ones, but I should check as I've lost that CD.
No, I haven't heard these. They're probably available online somewhere but I don't download mp3s unless I pay for them.
Do you think they'll be included on the eventual Disintegration remaster 2nd disc?
Yes. They're completely unheard tracks. No vocals on any...
More KMKMKM than Disintegration material, hence they were dropped I reckon...
Song 1 is something like If only tonight ..., Snakepit, mixed with some acoustic Led Zeppelin song
Song 2 is based on Pictures of You (similar structure) but still a different song, great one.
Song 3 is an awesome pop song much alike upbeat KMKMKM material or Wish B-sides stuff, the best Cure song I heard in years!
Get it!
:smth023
May someone add these songs in the download section please? :smth100

Insults are not allowed in Curefans.com
It's sad there are so violent divisions among Cure family.
wow i never knew other cure fans could be so damn idiotic arrogant!!!
THANK GOD i ended up in this forum where everybody is nice and civil even i they don't agree on something!!!
Nice to read something new! :)
And yes...every forum should be like this one! ;)
I edited the reference. I understand your passion Wish-Man, but we can't have references like that here.

"Ha! you taking the songs off JUST when Curefans noticed is almost even better than getting the songs themselves! shame that they'll definetly share the mp3s between them" Marco MFC
:?:
but yeah, it's kind of funny, wish-man. if you don't share, people (like the mfc folks who never taped a show themselves) just accuse you of hoarding. and if you do share, then these same people
really start accusing you just more, how you sit on this and that and god knows what. so nothing's ever right for them, always just wrong. obviously one can't give these people enough to ever make them happy.
it's just pretty odd and it's getting old and tiring and i find myself less and less interested in the whole cure scene. it's simply getting old.
Well I'm glad I decided on THIS Forum, that one sounds ****-tastic. What a shame, they sound like idiots over there.
Can someone PM the link to the tracks?
i think its the legend "no share" oe "rare trade"like stockholm 2008
its the same thing

is that a no?
im compare the songs with the shows people dont share.
and you see what issued forth
i am seriously wondering why is there so many bad feelings among cure fans
soooo? will someone post or PM the link? the original one is dead!
oh man i really can't see why this has to be so complicated. it's music we should all be able to share and enjoy it....
or is this about some old 'hard feelings' ??
anyway thanks for editing j. i was worried about that, although i'm quiet sure it was not meant literary.

Well, these [comment deleted by admin] over MFC take themselves far too serious. Thats pissing :smth011

i don't want to preview, download, listen or whatever to the three "new songs" because i like surprises and do not want to know ahead of time. :)

Ahead of time of what? These songs were leaked by a private collector, and the chances are VERY unlikely they will ever be officially released.
So if you want to "wait", you're likely to be waiting forever. 8)

I think those songs will be on the remaster disc 2. I mean the collector said the other tracks were demos and more or less live takes of the b-sides. It sounds to me like he has disc two and released the three "new" songs. One might be one of the alternate takes, though. We shall see in 2010. Perhaps.

either way, it is still Cure news, and it is still exciting!
I'm skeptical to all sorts of claimed "leaked stuff", I'd rather wait for the real deal to be released, especially in this case.
Sure is exciting. (http://www.greensmilies.com/smile/smiley_emoticons_hurra_fruehling6.gif)

From what I know, I don't think these two things are related. Sure, the "pool" of unreleased material could overlap there, but that guy certainly doesn't have the remastered bonus discs already. The three leaked tracks have some problems — dropouts, hiss, and a rather flat sound. They would certainly be polished up quite a bit before an official release.
And like you said, only two of the tracks could be exactly the same since there are only three completely unknown tracks on the future Disintegration re-release and one of them contains vocals (the three leaked tracks are all instrumental). Honestly, I'll be surprised if just one of these songs is the same.
Anyway, I still don't understand why people would avoid downloading what's available now, or why they would be "skeptical" of it. In the end, they're probably just going to miss out on something that won't be found elsewhere.
To each his or her own, I guess. ;)

good points. i think these come from a different source too, or at least aren't all included on the deluxe set.
please if smb has got these songs send them to me :(
on my email if possible?
wouldn't it be cool if a disintegration 2010 tour accompanied the release of the remastered album?
No, the great looking 1989 line-up and the atmosphere of "The Prayer Tour" doesn't exist anymore and a 4Tour version of the Disintegration album is nothing but horrible. Sorry it's just my personal opinion.
is there any chance somebody could reupload these tracks, or perhaps PM me with them, would love to hear what all the fuss is about ;)
thanks in advance

oh, come on mr. sunshine, we all know that it won't happen, just stating how cool it would be IF it did. ;) So, IF The Cure toured in support of the re-release/re-mastered disintegration album, you would not go to a show because of your aforementioned reason?
I think it'd be hella neat if they did a tour for the remaster!

No, actually I had in mind perhaps a 65.5 million year old plesiosaur doing the beats, a nice karaoke tape playin' through the songs, and Jackie Chan on keyboards.
It's just an idea, you know? :-D :smth023 Ahaha.
jbud1980: hearing Homesick would be so lovely. I'm with you on that one!

Unfortunately they just played this song during the Prayer Tour and then The Trilogy concerts. It's not really a song they used to play

i know, chances are i will never get to hear this song live, but i am still optimistic. i am sure u are aware of this, but here is a site with all of the cure concerts with all of the set lists:

oh, and thank you for the site, i can't believe there is something out there that displays when, where and length of a particular cure song played live. :smth023
