The other day at my local indie record store I bought a used copy of The Lovecats on 12" vinyl; A side is the extended mix and the B-sides are Speak My Language and Mr. Pink Eyes. It was 7 dollars, and I didn't mind putting down the money for it. What caught my eye, though, is that stamped on the top right corner is the following (capitalization is how it is printed):
Lent for Promotional Use Only. Any Sale or Unauthorized Transfer is Prohibited and Void. Subject to Return Upon Demand by Owner. Acceptance of This Record Constitutes Agreement to the Above.
So I'm wondering what a promo item like this is worth? Any ideas?

well, it really depends of the store. I bought last year the promotional "A letter to elise" EP and I think I didn't pay more than € 5 for it. I also bought a limited edition of the Why Can't I Be You EP (including "Push" live from Orange!) and this one was more expensive, like € 15, I think. So it depends. I'm sure both discs in South America would be much more expensive.
