QuoteWe toured with the Cure, they were great to tour with. There was a party every night, they treated all the bands really well.

Thanks for sharing this. totally agree with this:

QuoteIt's not got a shit song on it, even some of my favourite albums have a song that you can imagine they could have done without, but Pornography is absolutely brilliant in that respect

I like Mogwai very much, although Slowdive are my preferred in the Shoegazing genre.

I used to like Slowdive, but I do not see Mogwai in the same "genre". First of all, most of their stuff is instrumental. Especially if you see them live, they are a lot more "rocking" than most "shoegazing" bands. This here is one of their "heavier" tracks:
Glasgow Mega-Snake (Mogwai) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF2ZgK9JADQ#)

But I also love their slower, more melancholic pieces.
Mogwai - Auto Rock (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Rios58trWE#)

Btw, first time I saw Mogwai was in 2002 when they played with the Cure, Cranes a.o. in Hyde Park!
So, I discovered them through being a Cure fan. Thanks, Robert!  :)
