QuoteThe Cure star Roger O'Donnell has teased fans with some exciting news.

He updated his followers on Twitter with the announcement.

The keyboardist wrote that he had "just delivered the 27 cues for my first movie score."

"Very exciting and will share the details when I can. What an experience," he continued.

Fans pleaded with him for more details in the replies.

Unfortunately for them, O'Donnell wouldn't give the game away, replying saying he "can't" reveal anything more at this time.

I assume this refers to Seven Different Words for Love and to the Sam and Kate OST? Not sure whether they are supposed to be the same record or not, I haven't found any clear info on the net about it. Anyway, just wanted to say I REALLY like Roger's solo projects. He's a true composer, perhaps he should be given more space in The Cure records, or perhaps not, I have conflicted feelings about it. If he was, he wouldn't create such wonderful records on his own, so in a way I'm glad he is not as relevant in the band as he used to be in the Disintegration era... yet it feels so sad at the same time. IMHO, the band's shift from a keyboard-oriented sound to a more guitar-based one is a traditional move, but of course many may disagree on this...

I don't really know. After this one, I didn't follow the solo ways too much (seeing the band were going on tour in '22 and '23)... :1f636:

So, apparently Seven Different Words for Love is a portion of the Sam and Kate OST while also being the latest solo album by Roger. More news can be found here (the only reliable ones I could find):

As Roger currently has no official website (it used to be there online, but is no longer available), I guess we'll have to wait for more news about Sam and Kate.
