Greetings Fellow Curefans! My name is Jesse, and I've been a fan of The Cure since the summer of 2013. I went the poppier route and got into them through the Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, Disintegration, and Wish albums but soon fell in love with all of it. I look forward to getting to know all of you, as well as learning from members who have been fans longer than me.

Random fact: I share a birthday with Boris Williams, but was born 38 years after him.
But it's much too late you say
For doing this now
We should have done it then
Well it just goes to show
How wrong you can be
And how you really should know
That it's never too late
To get up and go

Sooo... Cool personal update that's actually related to The Cure; my new neighbor (who is from Sussex) went to school in Crawley and got to see the cure playing live way back in 78 or 79. She also identifies as an ex goth :). How lucky am I? Burning some CDs as part of a housewarming gift right now

Sooo... Another cool update; I was wearing my Wild Mood Swings shirt to class today, and my professor told me she danced to "Mint Car" at her wedding. Meeting all kinds of Cure fans in my area :)

And I'm the kind of Cure fan who'd never dance to Mint Car, especially at my wedding!  :winking_tongue   So you know all sorts!   :cool

I prefer going wide-eyed at Plainsong etc. :angel

We've also had a few Airbnb guests exclaiming at the new live collection we've got sitting on the coffee table since Christmas.  One 20-something traveller from London discovered their music through a relative recently and claims to be obsessed with them these past couple of years.   Went to gigs and everything.

Hey, it's better than getting married to "Give Me It" ;)
