The hypocresy:

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz told German radio, on Tuesday, during an interview at the G7, that by striking Iran, Israel was doing "dirty work" for everyone. "I can only say I have the greatest respect for the fact that the Israeli army and the Israeli government had the courage to do this," Merz continued.

But: keep in mind that Germany was the country where the holocaust happened, thus traditionally Israel is seen as a "friend".

Plus keep in mind that Iran has been "on the radar" of US forces for years, because of their support for terrorists world-wide.
