Well, thank you Scatcat - that's an offer we can't refuse! It's a date in 2054, then!

Re: 'Chilly Mr Dilly' - he's my big Maine Coon boy, and really called Dilly.
He's chilly, as he had to be shaved by the vet recently, and so the caption seemed kinda fitting.

(Robert sings that line in 'Cut Here':
"But chilly Mr. Dilly - Too much rush to talk to Billy
All the tizzy fizzy idiot things must get done.")

Sad song, really, (even if that lyric is a bit daft)  :(
There is no end to the stars and the wind.
There is only you yourself,
who aren't who you think you are.

 :smth046 :smth043 :smth043 :smth043 oh, you girls make me laugh!!!   :smth043

ok,'tis time for me to face the facts....I'll be 40 in 6 weeks, and you know what, I'm perfectly ok with that!!  In fact I'm kinda proud of the fact I've made it this far and can still do most of the things I did in my 20s (although it takes a little longer to recover now, and by the end of the day my stiletto heels hurt my feet...)

By my calculations, I've been listening to the Cure for 27 years now and have absolutely no intention of stopping!  I also have no intention of giving up my heels, black clothes, red lipstick, eyeliner or cutting my hair!  So girls, see you at the 2054 Oslo show - I'll be the 86 year old dear tottering about in stilettos, brandishing a cane.... ;)
The further we go, and older we grow, the more we know the less we show

It's gunna be one hell of a concert!!  I won't be in stilettos though sues777, think it'll be fluffy slippers... bright pink.... just to be different... heehee
(aren't we a bunch of silly ol' chooks??!!) *laughing* why not.

Sigh... my vote is no longer valid. As of last week I am no longer in the 36-40 age bracket! Gotta start looking into one of those special wheelchairs Scatcat was talking about for the 2054 tour.

cox i thought you were 17! or 18.. you mentioned you passed some exams so i assumed lol

lets see.. i was born towards the end of wish tour. in fact, the cure did a show in rome's Palaeur 3 days before i was born with Cranes opening and a show the day after i was born, in Marseille - Palais des Sports, France. sometimes i look at footage from that october-november time of the cure or other bands on youtube. i saw the cure for the first time at download fesitival a few weeks before i turned 15.
you could say im very nostalgic for someone who wants the future, i always look back to the past and wonder what it was like back then. i wonder how a person isnt just bursting with memories, all those years that passed y'know?
