BTW, tigermilk, which is your fav version/recording of this?.. mine is and always been Concert-Live, The Cure.. although a few live versions are right up there.!

Yes! I love that live version. I fell more in love with the song after hearing it live, it's such a good song to hear/see live. I'm glad it's on the Festival DVD too! It's probably my favourite song off The Top. What's yours?

Although Shake Dog Shake is up there.. I have to say that on the original 'Top'... the recording doesn't do anything for me.. If I were to pick one and only from the recording of 'Top' .. it woould be 'The Caterpillar'.. I have this on vinyl.. behind Bird Mad Girl, is the Wailing Wall.. only because of the middle eastern sounds...

It's still the best version IMHO.
The Rome one is really very good too, but the Budapest one just pips it I think.
