The Police are awesome, but Sting's ridiculously dorky "foreign music" experimentation was so corny and uncool...wow, that was redundant!

Sting's solo career sucked, save "Fortress Around Your Heart", which I think is the second most beautiful song aside from "Happy The Man".

Yes, I too think The Beatles are overrated, and definately nowhere near as outstanding as The Cure, no matter how far back they went...

Siouxsie_

I like The Beatles, but I don't like most of their contemporaries, such as The Rolling Stones.

Bob Dylan's voice annoys me.

I think that U2 are pretentious.

And all of those interchangeable "emo" pop bands that aren't emo at all, such as My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco make me cringe. They are terrible!

Well, we all have our own opinion I suppose. Sting's solo stuff is utter crap as far as I'm concerned.
The Police were awesome. That's true. But just pause for a moment & consider De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da. Bollox mate
There were a couple of good tracks on GITM & just the 1 on Sychronicity.
Other than that (IMHO) a load of rubbish.
@siouxsie Yep, the Stones were shocking.
The Beatles are a classic example of kissing corporate ass until they were big enough to go & do what they wanted. However, what they wanted to do was also sh!te
Cheers

I think the Rolling Stones should go into retirement. They don't do something new i think.

#82
 And i thought the artists we don't like.

I've listed artists i don't like, i hope that wasn't wrong  :).
Okay, maybe you can respect some of them, but i think all these pop singers you can't.
Modern Talking were like a nightmare (they don't exist anymore) .

By the way, Thomas Anders, the man with the long brown hair, has now short hair.

Did I already mention U2?
Alright, we get it, Bono! YOU LIKE FREEDOM!

Geez, they're lame and overrated.

Geez, they're lame and overrated.

they used to be ok in the very early 80s, just like simple minds: simple minds were even better band of the two, up until around 'empires and dance'. then pretty soon they became even more embarrassing than U2... maybe that was the secret rule/code with the two of them: "the better you were, the more you took nosedive"?
anyway about U2, i think 'war' is still a pretty decent album. anyway, after that - well ok everyone knows what came after that...

i actually did like 'achtung baby' at the time when it came out. the most embarrassing phase of their career was (and imo still is) the "america-this america-that we love elvis we love bb king gospel music rules" rattle and hum period which is simply unbelievably bad especially when you think of it from today's perspective. also bad at its time too. anyway, compared to that, 'achtung baby' was a move towards better in several ways. i did like a lot of it musically and i also did like the artwork/design. yet it all got out of hands pretty soon as they went on tour and the tv screens just got bigger and bigger. so it all degenerated too. i haven't listened to 'achtung baby' for a really long time and somehow i don't even want to. for some reason i think i want to keep a mental image of it being rather decent album after all, and i know if i'd put it on today i'd pretty much hate it. so, let sleeping dogs (all kinds of them) lie i guess.

anyway, i've watched a few live gigs on dvd from their every tour since, just out of curiosity. even if i didn't like them anymore, i wanted to keep myself updated - maybe i wanted to confirm myself that they were still as bad as last year or something like it. anyway, it's been tedious to watch and i think there's little or no hope that they'd ever get any better anymore. and i think today they are already officially slipping towards embarrassing:
by the way, some time ago when i first saw this pic, it just made me laugh completely hysterically:

Carnage Visor

Yeah...I rented "OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST" DVD and they played "I will follow" and they were really good...it was the early 80s though.

So to be fair, their early stuff is good, but the late 80s to now sucked.

Cure Freak

Have some more.
Randy Newman~ I can't understand anything he's sinnging.
Nirvana
Celine Dion

Carnage Visor

Christina Aguilera.

Definately HOT!...Definately would  'tap that' in a second...but definately wouldn't  'listen to her albums' in a million years... lol

But PLEASE, Christina, feel free to sing naked on my TV!!! I'll have the mute button ready!

Ahhh...I needed to get that out.

AlluivialL

so..I absolutely hate Rammstein. Any kind of rap, and country. Eh, it just bugs me so much. Heavy metal..except for System Of A Down and Deadsy. 98% of emo music, I listen to a few bands that have the label emo, but I don't really have a problem admitting I like them.
But I think I get a bit confused, am I seducing or being seduced?

silversand

I don't like Rammstein either.

Here are more i don't like:

Jennifer Lopez
all Emo bands
Simple Minds (sorry if someone here likes them, i used to like them, but i has changed)
Scorpions (a German Heavy Metal band)
HIM
Bloodhound Gang
