Finally I got round to watching "Bohemian Rhapsody" (in a cinema, although dvd/blu has been released now). I'm not the biggest Queen fan, but it was mostly entertaining to watch. (And I'm aware it is very much the "Hollywood version" of events, just like back in the day with that movie about The Doors...)
Rami Malek deserved his Oscar, as he acted well enough, however it never got further than me watching "Rami Malek plays Freddie Mercury" (well I never had the impression I was watching the "real" Freddie - despite a good performance and make-up and all that).
The climax of the film is the "Live Aid" performance and I actually watched that back in 1985! From what I remembered, the film crew did very well in recreating that moment!
