I guess everybody has seen the comments regarding Curelivegigs.org at the end of the mexico torrent. Does anyone know if that for real or just a wind up as I suspect it is?

Yes I saw that. I think its a practical joke. Not very funny considering how excited everyone is about finally getting to hear that awesome concert. Man ,why didnt they play that setlist in Auckland :-)

No soundboards that I am aware of.  I actually asked the sound guy for a patch the first night and was politely turned down .....

Well I dunno about The Cure, but a former coworker slipped the sound guy $500 at a show for a board patch, this was a rap show somewhere in the past. If the sound guy gets busted, he'll lose his shirt, so you have to somehow make it worth his while....

Now this is something I don't recommend doing because you could be potentially busted and escorted out.

I asked that if I were to bring in a Microtrack on the third night if I could get a patch for my own personal use.  I wasn't about to tell him I had my full gear on me the nights I was there (and I specifically said the 3rd night knowing I wasn't going to be there...of course if he said yes, I'm not sure what I would have done!).  The guy was really nice and very talkative so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Amazing there are so many circumstantial events of the night in question.

Get over the hurdles.. J's dedication is so far a noteworthy contribution and hard work, that this alternative note-slipping co-worker does not even register!! I would only take J's version!

there are at least 2 other versions out there, that people who are on dime taped, but will not share with dime people, even though they download frequently from dime (thats a little bit of hypocrisy for you). There is also a 3rd version that this guy from mexico is trying to sell. I think its rare swopper only, except these people are trying to trade for other rare swoppers from guys who do not trade anymore, so they will not have any luck there. By February when they keep playing these songs all over in the setlists in europe, then nobody will really care anyway
