hey scatcat - I'm really, really sorry to hear Chairman Mao is unwell.
As a "cat mother" myself, I know how upsetting it is when your little furry ones are sick.  Just keep telling him you love him....Sending you and your little one lots of hugs.....

Hugs to you scatcat and your feline friend..it's awful when they are ill, just do what you are doing...letting him know how much he is loved... and yes, vets do tell us the worst, try to make us realise we may just lose our fuzzy pals.. I guess it's better to tell the truth, what they believe MAY happen... working with sick animals is a science all on its own...I mean, our pets can't say "OOoO, I have a headache"...or whatever...
warm wishes to you and your kitty... :smth056

I'm sorry about your kitty too, Scatcat. It's dreadful when they're sick.  :(
My Dilly cat is 3 years old now, and has had both IBD and Stomatitis since he was 4 months old, which has been very difficult to cope with some days.
He had all his teeth extracted when he was only 8 months old, and I have to keep him on a special diet.
He can be rather a handful to look after, but I woudn't part with him for the world! He's so loving.
Today it made me sad as poor Dilly had a dreadful upset stomach, and I had to bath him twice. He is very patient, and puts up with a lot, but I could see he wasn't feeling great today.
Plus it was *my* fault, as he'd managed to scarf down some of my other cat's dry food, which I should have cleared away before he could get at it. My bad.  :?

I've been the hospital for three weeks. Got out the 16th. I have TB. Can't got to work for awhile and have to take meds , for at least 6 weeks.

Welcome back Cure Freak!!  I'm really sorry to hear you were so unwell, but I'm glad you're getting better.  Take care of yourself.
And a for that Oz guy...well, his timing really sucks...I feel for you, having to deal with that now as well...
Please just focus on yourself and making yourself well.  Hang in there...

Thank you  sues777 . I've got a long way to full recovery. It takes 6 months to 2 years.
Agree, I do need to do that and not deal with the other misfortune in my life.

Thanks again.

Hi Cure Freak. I'm so sorry you've been so poorly, and I hope you feel much better soon.  :smth023
I have a friend who caught TB several years ago, and he was very ill. It's very unpleasant, so I really sympathise.

@Cure Freak
Sorry to hear about your problem.
I also have a friend who had tb a couple of years back.... recovery is a long process, very slow, but now he is completely healthy.
So, you need a lot of patience and you need to take good care of yourself, but you'll get through it and a moment will come when it all seems like a bad dream that's gone!
Best of luck to you  :)
