We ( in South Australia) are in yet another heatwave. Day upon day of 100 plus, no relief in sight... please...rain.....please....
Here in Italy we had three days of precocious spring, with late-may temperatures, and now it's suddenly winter again, and all the flowers that were blooming are dead... You guys are drying up... Not to harp on the global warming topic again, but I'm so afraid of what shape this planet is going to be in, in the near future...

I'm so sick about my sadness...I'm trying to be happy again! :smth001

How about picturing...Robert in braids!?

Sorry, I don't want you all to be sad...I'm still a tad deflated myself about something incredibly idiotic I did last week. It involved me practically giving away a lot of money to complete strangers...Made a friend of mine, the only one I told about it, nearly lose her belief in my common sense. It was almost impressive how remarkably stupid and unnecessary it was, and let's never speak of it again...

:smth061 Hi Robbie...

Im sad because people keep dying  :( I can deal with death but i hate seeing family and friends who can't, hurt so much. Im also kind of sad because i feel let down by a friend who i thought was different.
I think everything will be ok though... everything happens for a reason.
And its nearly summer and summer is always happy!

Steve

I think I upset someone.
Didn't mean to & now I'm not feeling too good about myself. :?
Cheers

well, firstly, you need to find out if you actually DID upset someone....
if you did, it was unintentional, so, you weren't being mean...
small misunderstandings can sometimes get blown out of all proportion...
it's easy to take things the wrong way on the internet, can't give each other a "nudge nudge, wink wink"...
ask, Steve.... don't be sad....

Aww...I'm really sorry, Hero. I can relate to all of that. The people that passed, were they close to you? It's very hard to lose someone you love, I do know that from experience. My dad is divorced and lives in a different state far away, and it feels like he's dead. I hardly ever get to see him or hear from him, and it's really hard.

And as for the friend thing, I know what you must be going through...I have this friend who I really care about, but ever since he got a girlfriend he seems to have drifted away, putting up a wall. And he was my closest pal, to top it. Cross our fingers that everything in the friendship world will heal itself. We can beat this!  ;)

Look forward to the summer, for some reason the warmth works as a natural anti-depressant. I hope you feel better!  :)

Today, is the 7th anniversary of my daughter's death.
I miss her so much.

So sorry Cure Freak *hugs*

thinking of you...

Um,  I just saw this,  and I can't think of anything sadder.  My children are everything to me - I know it's an old post,  but I also guess your sadness will be with you forever.  My thoughts go out to you - please never feel alone

my Chairman Mao has heart disease. He is seriously ill. He will die, of course I know that, but it could be sooner than later.. and he was vomiting last night from the meds.. which make him not so well anyway..

what to do? I am further depressed..  :smth089

I'm so sorry the Chairman is unwell  :smth085, but don't lose hope...I know you remember I was in a very similar situation a couple of months ago, and the vets always seem to tell you the worst of it. From what they said in the beginning I was expecting to see my gatto waste away in a matter of a few weeks, and right now he's sitting in my lap purring and looking better than ever, his last check-up two weeks ago revealed no problems, and I think he's going to be with us for quite a while longer.(Fingers crossed!) So even though it's difficult, try to think positive... :smth056

Will he have to take the meds all the time or just for a while?

for the rest of his life.. heart medicine, and asprin.
that's why i was worrying when it all came upwards, and his dose ended up on my carpet ( sorry for the visual there)  :smth011

Thanks robiola our beautiful gatto's..  :smth049
how i missed him when i was away, then he was away  all day at the vets.. i was warned of the worst, but i took my own chance to pay $500.00 for an ultrasound to give me the truth.. ( i was hoping it would be a waste of money..) but no... worst confirmed..

but he just seems so ill.. very tired.. very 'sooky' ( do you know that term?)
i just tell him everyday that I love him.. as I would any loved-one.. i don't want to regret or take advantage of any day gone by without giving him a kiss and a cuddle.. and those magic words.. i .. love.. you..  :smth059

Maybe his body has to get used to them and then he'll tolerate them better... I hope so!
No, actually I don't know the term "sooky"...

scatcat

thanks Robiola... he seems a bit better today..   :smth002

hmm 'sooky' means in either English or Aussie slang.. ( believe it or not,, it is not in the old Oxford dictionary i have,.. ) but it refers to being 'a sook'.. ( sulk, not necessarily a winger, but, possibly a bit of a crybaby.. ) which .. as we all know, when you're not well, who isn't?

here's a link to New Zealand slang:
