Certainly not, that lady S. Wagenknecht has had her head in the clouds for a number of years now.
She'd been talking about diplomacy, when it was crystal clear that Putin did not want any of it.

When I saw pictures of a public reading in Thuringia, it had a certain "story time" feel to it. She knows what her followers want to hear. Under normal circumstances, she would be an educator or even Minister of Education.

There's no evidence Russia plans to attack or conquer Europe. I personally don't believe this for a second.

Well, there had been a "cold war" already going on (spying, sabotage etc.), but now a new level has been reached:

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk says the Polish military recorded 19 drone incursions in the country's airspace overnight.

Speaking to the Polish parliament, Tusk says three - or perhaps four - drones were shot down by Polish and Nato aircraft that were scrambled to deal with the threat.

Tusk says a significant number of the drones flew into the country from Belarus. The last drone to be shot down was at 06:45 local time (05.45 BST), he says.


Authorities in Poland have found seven drones and the remains of an unidentified object in sites across the country following the multiple incursions of Polish airspace overnight, an interior ministry spokeswoman says.


Viktor Orbán, Hungary's Prime Minster, calls the air incursion "unacceptable". Orbán is the only EU leader to have kept close ties to the Kremlin following its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.


Donald Tusk says Poland is at its closest to open conflict than at any time since World War Two.

"I have no reason to claim we're on the brink of war, but a line has been crossed, and it's incomparably more dangerous than before," the Polish prime minsters tells parliament.

"This situation brings us the closest we have been to open conflict since World War Two".
